Precautions for centrifugal fan selection

Firstly, fans for different purposes shall be selected according to the nature of the transported gas, such as clean air, flammable and explosive gas, corrosive gas and dusty air.

According to the required air volume, air pressure and determined fan type, the required fan shall be selected from the performance table or performance curve of fan product sample. In the selection, it shall be considered that the air leakage may be caused by the insufficient tight connection of the pipeline system, so the calculated air volume and air pressure of the system can be appropriately increased by 10-20%.

Unless otherwise specified, the fan performance parameters listed in the fan product samples generally refer to the performance parameters under the standard state (atmospheric pressure 760 mm Hg, temperature 20 ℃, relative temperature 50%). If the actual use is far from the standard state, the listed parameters shall be converted according to the corresponding formula during selection.
